The Circus is in Town
Hi friends! Hope you've all had wonderful weeks so far. My week has been busy as I've been furiously working on a million things for the show this weekend. I can't wait! This will be my first time (as a vendor) at the Handmade Spring Show. I'm even more excited that I'll get to hang out with my friend Holly while I'm there. She'll be selling her amazing homemade treats! I hope you guys will stop by. :)
I'm so behind on posting designs that I'm starting to feel a bit behind. I'm hoping I can catch up...eventually.
Anyway, here's some birthday invitations I designed for one of my sweet friends. Her precious son was turning 2 and needed some circus themed invites to tie in with the party theme.
The design was done with water color and then was outlined in ink. My favorite part...the elephant and lion. :)

Golf Notecards
This stationery was designed for one of our family friends who wanted a special gift to give to her mother. She wanted something with her mom's monogram and something that depicted her love for golf. Also, her mother's favorite color is red/cranberry, so I tried my best to add a hint of that to the artwork in photoshop and also to the envelope liners. The original artwork for this design is done with pencil and ink. I think it turned out beautiful. :)
If you are interested in this design, I can adjust the colors, the monogram, and the font as needed.
Finished product. :)

Custom Bird Nest Stationery
This is one of my favorites to date. One of my dear friends ordered it as a gift to give to one of our mutual friends. Knowing that our mutual friend loves birds and bird's nests, she knew from the beginning that she wanted something along those lines. The final design was produced from one of my original sketches and then color was added in photoshop. I hope she liked the final product. :)

Floral Business Cards
These custom cards were lots of fun to make. One of my friends who makes a lot of handmade goodies wanted something to attach to each of her items. The design itself is one of my originals and was inspired by images she had shown me of some of her family's artwork.

Children's Calling Cards - Pooh Bear
Designing these calling cards had me reminiscing over my childhood and the adventures of pooh and the gang in the Hundred-Acre Woods. This design, done for one of my co-worker's sons, was produced from one of my original watercolored sketches.

Children's Calling Cards - Little Red Wagon
Children's calling cards are gaining more and more popularity. I love these calling cards. They make me think of when I was a little kid and Dad would pull me in my little red wagon to the park. Such great memories. :) The following design was actually done for the son of one of my coworkers. It was produced from one of my original watercolored sketches.

Red Berry Wedding Invitations
These wedding invitations were designed for my brother-in-law's wedding. Since the wedding is so close to Chrismas, they wanted the design to be Christmas themed. I offered three different designs options and this ended up being the winner. The red berries are an original graphic created by first hand sketching the design, then watercoloring and inking it afterwards. The design was then scanned into the computer and touched up in photoshop. After the invitations were printed, each one was mounted onto a dark brown shimmer paper to make them more festive. :)
